Every generation has it own legend, that artist that no one can duplicate, that everyone wants to follow, however, this generation has yet to have that experience until now! Foul Al is the name and making history is his objective. The writer and producer of his entire album, his talent is not to be mistaken or misjudged, it is pure and god given. Foul Al is the one you need to know about!

A true star was born in Harlem hospital in New York City, to the name of Alvin Lanier Lattimore. Foul Al was then raised in the heart of Far Rockaway, NY, in the place know as Ocean Village. Foul has been perfecting his craft of lyricism since the third grade, starting out with poems and short stories. He stepped into the professional rap arena around the age of fifteen, gaining opportunities to be around and influenced by artists such as Das EFX and Tragedy Kahdaif. Foul Al has found his influences in the works of such artists as James Brown, LL Cool J, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Quincy Jones and Queen Latifah just to mention a few.

In 1996, Foul Al started to build a team and saw the vision for a new lane in the music industry, his lane. It was at this time that he knew he was destined to make his own path. In 1998, Foul Al met his now label mate and business partner Ricochet Lakewood and began to build the Renny Entertainment, Inc. entity, which he successfully established in 2006. Since then he has been patiently waiting for the right time to release his official debut album. While releasing several other projects to keep his supporter’s palettes wet. Just to name a few of those releases, which are currently on cdbaby.com, Beautiful Music, Corner Code, and Understatement, where among some of his early works. In 2004, Foul Al decided it was time to focus on perfecting yet another talent, so he embarked on the task of becoming a music producer. He has produced tracks for several artists as well as himself and his label mate, Ricochet Lakewood. Now in 2009, Foul Al has finally decided it is time to bless the world with his lyrical genius, officially, with the release of his debut album Recession Proof. Recession Proof is just that Foul Al gets you in the Recession Proof state of mind and allows you to feel where he is coming from with songs like, “That’s Not What I Want” and party bangers like “Boom Bam”, their is something for everyone on this epic album. This one album the world will embrace.
